Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how John Kaplar LLC, a Virginia limited liability company located in Loudoun County, Virginia ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use johnkaplar.ai (the "Site").

1. Information we collect

We keep collection minimal. The Site collects:

  • Form submissions. When you submit the Work With Me or Speaking form, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, company or organization, and the details you write. This information is sent to us by email through Resend, our email delivery provider.
  • Spam-protection signals. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes limited browser signals to distinguish people from bots. Turnstile does not show you puzzles in most cases and does not track you across sites.
  • Basic analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, provides aggregate traffic analytics (such as page views and country). This does not identify you personally.

The Site does not use advertising cookies, does not sell personal information, and does not include third-party ad trackers.

2. How we use your information

We use form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry: to evaluate a potential consulting engagement or speaking invitation and to reply to you. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.

3. Third-party content

The Instagram section of the Site loads recent posts through Behold, a feed service connected to our Instagram account. Loading those images involves requests to Behold's and Instagram's servers, which are governed by their own privacy policies. Links to Skool, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok take you to platforms with their own policies.

4. Data retention

Form submissions arrive as email and are kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for reasonable business records. You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

5. Data security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, including rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
